The Last Guardian TGS 09 Trailer

We have here another TGS trailer, this time for The Last Guardian (formerly known as Project Trico), the eagerly awaited next game from Team Ico, the developers behind the excellent Ico and the equally brilliant Shadow of the Colossus.
A PS3 exclusive, the game follows the friendship between a small boy and his huge griffin like companion ‘Trico’. There’s definitely a Neverending Story vibe going on in the trailer, if you didn’t grow up in the 80’s however, you probably don’t have a clue what I mean by that. Safe to say this isn’t the first time we’ve seen big dog looking creatures with small boys riding around on their back. Here’s to hoping it’s not the last time either! Flying dogs are under-used in all forms of creative media, fact (not a fact, an opinion, but a true one!).

*ahem* Sorry. I went to see that and demanded my money back! Never ending my hairy bee-hind, two hours later I was outside the cinema! Anyway, this new game looks good. I’ve always liked what Team Ico have made. I did get worried when I heard it was just a bunch of boss battles, but SotC was a breath of fresh air, and I have every faith this next one will be just as (if not more so) amazing!
Can’t wait!
Hey, 2 hours is pretty long for a childrens film, besides the story should have lived on in your heart! (or extended to the horrific sequel)
I love the music Team Ico using in these trailers, I remember buying Ico and loving every minute of it.
