With 1.7 million copies sold in its first week, EA are reporting FIFA 10 as not only the fastest selling sports game of all time, but as the companies most successful European launch to date.
EA president Peter Moore had this to say about the titles success “We were confident that FIFA 10 would be a hit, and this week fans across Europe have shown just how much they love this game. We are incredibly proud of FIFA 10 and this kick-off for great, authentic football competition.”
Mr Moore however did not go on to add “We’re rich, beyond our wildest dreams, now I can buy the pony i’ve always dreamed of and focus on my plans for world domination”
A new Director’s Cut trailer has been released also, which you can see above. The trailer has some delightful little speech bubbles which inform us of the most important changes to this years iteration.
