Netflix on its way to PS3

Playstation.blog announced today that plans are afoot to port the digital film and television service Netflix to the Playstation 3. This  means PS3 users will be able to stream thousands of films and tv programmes directly to their PS3.

So far the deal looks to be exclusive to the United States, but hopefully some kind of deal may be struck that would allow the new service to make its way to European shores.
