Love them or hate them, Nintendo’s latest evil ploy of parading Jedward around is coming to the London Games Festival, with an appearance from the pair at the Nintendo Wii party on October 9.
Other newly announced events include an appearance from Cartoon Network’s Ben 10 on October 2, Media Molecule delivering the BAFTA Video Game lecture on October 7, and a public reviewing of Fifa 11 and Pro Evo 2011 on October 9. We’re guessing that last one won’t be performed in their underwear in the early hours of the morning with half a mug of coffee and the distinct smell of ‘gamer sweats’.
“I’m really excited to confirm the next batch of great events around London,” Says Kirsty Payne, Director, London Games Festival. “Jedward are an amazing addition to the bill and I look forward to welcoming a wider audience than ever before to the festivities. From BAFTA lectures to pop concerts, the London Games Festival really does open up gaming to all comers and this year is looking to be better than ever.”
