As a fan of Japanese RPGs since the 8-bit days, I've really been missing having a true one this generation. A lot of Japanese game companies don't seem to realize that by trying to westernize, they are ruining what made their games truly stand out. When I want a western style game, I choose to purchase a product made by a western company. When I buy a Japanese game, what I want is a Japanese game, not some western game wanna be. I suspect it's this way with many other western gamers as well. I’m really looking forward to this.
