Pokémon X and Y have got their own little trailer in the Nintendo Direct E3 edition (first game in the video). More than just a new batch of Pokémon, you’ll also see the new 3D visuals and the feature everyone was asking for… the ability to feed and pet 3D versions of your favourite Pokémon using Pokémon-Amie.
As for how it looks, well the visuals look nice and sharp and the battles look more thrilling due to new effects and camera panning. There is a new Pokémon type; Fairy, which changes so older Pokémons types as well, such as Jigglypuff, Gardevoir and Marill, which will help you beat down, all those pesky Dragon types.
Both Black and White reinvigorated the series, through its lack of older Pokémon during the early part of the game and its online functionality. Hopefully this’ll capture the wonder that the first games held way back when, but we’ll have to sit tight until its October release to find out.
