The Banner Saga 2 has now officially been announced by Stoic Games and Versus Evil. Not much has been said about the game but there is a gorgeous trailer that you can watch below, alongside some (also gorgeous) pictures they’ve provided. The game is due for release in 2015 and will be coming not only to PC but also “Next generation” consoles via Xbox One and PS4; which presumably means that Wii U is currently not on the cards and Mobile devices are likely not going to be announced until a little further into development.
We recently spoke to Stoic about aspects of development for The Banner Saga, Kickstarter and mobile releases. Alongside the variety of devices that you can already play The Banner Saga on you will also be able to pick it up for Vita soon but with no official release day as of yet.
