New Prince of Persia announced for next year

The time bending, sand guzzling, floppy haired Prince of Persia is coming back to consoles in May 2010 according to Ubisoft.

The new title, dubbed Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is promising that it will boast ‘fan-favourite elements’ and ‘new gameplay innovations that gamers have come to expect from the Prince of Persia brand.’

What that actually means is anyone’s guess but the Prince seems to be going in to overdrive next year with a new game and a motion picture to flaunt himself around in.

There were a few um… ‘mishaps’ with the PoP series, but I did enjoy the last game a lot (though a bit more action would have been good) and I’m curious to see what they come up with next. It’s not like I’m waiting for it like I am with The Last Gaurdian or anything, but still curious.

    Thanks for the snippit
