Fable III E3 trailer

The first Fable promised much and, notoriously, failed to deliver on most of it – but was still a very good game. Fable II promised much, and delivered most of it – and was a very good game. Fable III promises much – will it follow the pattern and deliver all?

Possibly – especially as Molyneux now alleges that he won’t overhype his games anymore.

This is clearly a videogame trailer that wants to be a movie trailer. Such clips certainly encourage publishers and developers to slap one another on the back, but they only serve to frustrate gamers. Where’s the gameplay footage? At least British national treasure John Cleese can be heard nattering away in the background.

The game was confirmed at E3 as having a release date of October 26th.
