Resi 4 and Code Veronica X get HD treatment

Slowly shuffling enemies from the consoles of yesteryear are coming to XBLA and PSN as part of the 15 year anniversary of Resident Evil.

Capcom are releasing Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X on the major consoles’ downloadable services this autumn with upgraded visuals for the HD machines. By our maths this will be the fifth version of Resident Evil 4 released.

The series that first appeared in 1996 on the original PlayStation has sold over 45 million units since its inception, and even spawned a financially successful (perhaps not so critically) movie franchise.

Exclusive apparel and merchandise to celebrate 15 years of zombie and not-so-zombie smashing fun is also being released for the occasion.
