The editor for the excellent Torchlight is now available for download. The levels found in the game itself are randomly generated, meaning the editor gives modders a chance to take the assets from the game and create a more crafted experience.

Torchlight is the first release from Runic Games, a company boasting an excellent pedigree in action RPG’s, with previous team credits including Diablo’s I & II, Mythos and Fate. Going into Torchlight you’d be forgiven then for expecting a tightly designed and polished take upon the oft-neglected genre.

There’s a new addition to the list of Torchlight trailers, this time for the ‘Alchemist’ character. Bright shiny lights, cool powers, loads of enemies (including a stupidly huge one)…if this doesn’t get you looking forward to Torchlight, nothing will.
