3D Dot Game Heroes extended trailer

Chances are by now you’ve already seen the initial trailer from the splendid looking 3D Dot Game Heroes, but here’s a second opportunity to see what all the fuss is about. The game’s most striking point are it’s graphics which attempt to fuse old school pixels with high-res 3D, to wonderful effect.

There’s a definite Zelda vibe to the game which plays out in a similar style to Link’s old top down adventures and features music that’s hugely reminiscent of the classic series. Unfortunately the text that accompanies the video is in what we can only assume is Japanese, but the text isn’t important, just gorge your eyes on this visual feast and let us know what you think in the comments below.

3D Dot Game Heroes is out on PS3 in Japan on November 5th, no word yet of a western release, but we’ll keep our pixels crossed.

Right I’m going to say what we all know, this is a 3d version of Legend Of Zelda The Link To The Past. Which is one of my favourite games still got a copy too :)

I just hope it gets a least a US release as it would be a crime against gaming if we didn’t get a chance to play this.
